Life was wonderful. Four months of study, including her entire summer, 6 hours a day, had lead up to this. The formula for the Speed Force, 3X2(9YZ)4A had been her sole focus for all of her waking hours. Now, she could see the numbers, hear the numbers, feel the numbers, and really, really understand the numbers. Carolyn counted herself lucky she didn’t taste the numbers as well.
All the testing, the secretive time spent out on the track with Uncle Bart, making sure she could get to the Speed force every time, it was all worth it. Even spending time after school in geography of all things (ugh!) memorizing the interstates of the

All my homework is finished, yes, even the history essay. It’s on the corner of the desk. I went over the math problems twice, and spell checked the paper three times.
Since my part of the deal is done, I’m going ahead with the plan to visit Henry.
